New artist- Michelle Collins-
If you know me, I'm a sucker for whimsy and things that make me laugh or smile...these pins accomplish that for me! New to Spring Willow are Michelle Collins' Wise Woman Design Pins...each one very unique and with a little story.
Shown are on left: Hortense - who was of the opinion that those who lived in glass houses spent a lot of time washing windows!
And Right: Petula- She rests secure in the knowledge that her jealously guraded recipe for supremely fluffy angel food cake would one day win her fame and fortune!

New Artist John Melo!
Wood spirits straight from Canadian woods have made it to our Gallery...they'll make great x-mas gifts at only $25 each...
"Wood Spirits are believed to live in the woods and be the protector of 'pure spirit' of all those who enter. It is said to be good luck if you are able to spot a Woodspirit in the trees. They were known to like to play tricks on people but could also be good and would grant wishes if a person was felt to have a kind heart. The term 'knock on wood' is believed to have originated with hunters and woodsmen who, upon entering the forest would knock on a large old tree to awaken the Woodspirit, ensuring that no evil came to them!"
